Children's swimming lessons are still available at Buxton, New Mills and Glossop Pools.
Beginners' classes, which are suitable for children of school age, help to build confidence at first and then progress to learning recognised front and back strokes.
The lessons, which are provided by fully qualified Amateur Swimming Association swimming teachers, cost £48.00 for a twelve-week course.
The courses at Buxton Pool have just started, but places are still available. The New Mills courses start on 1 March and the Glossop courses start on 7 March.
In addition, specialist one-to-one tuition is also available at all 3 pools at a cost of £14.00 per lesson.
Councillor Andrew Bingham, High Peak Borough Council's Executive Member for Social and Community Development, said: "It's never too early to learn to swim. If your children want to learn to swim, or improve their skills, this is a great opportunity for you to book them on a course."
