Can you help the Harehills Community Group to plant bulbs on Saturday 8 March?
The Group, supported by Groundwork Derby and Derbyshire and High Peak Borough Council, are inviting people to volunteer to give and hour or 2 of their time between 9.30am and 12.30pm by planting bulbs around the park.
Volunteers should meet at the entrance off Philip Howard Road (opposite the Market car park). Gloves and tools will be provided, however suitable clothing should be worn.
Councillor Andrew Bingham, High Peak Borough Council's Executive Member for Community and Social Development, said: "Planting bulbs now will make a big difference to how good the park looks next spring. So why not get your gardening gear on and come along to help out!"
