Gamesely families are invited to a health fair at the Geoffrey Allen Centre in Winster Mews on Saturday 19 January, between 11am and 3pm.
The fair will include information about:
Experts available include: the Cottage Lane Surgery team, the Stop Smoking team, Connect 4 Life, dieticians, adult education professionals, lifestyle coached and the Gamesley Community centre team.
Councillor Bob Mckeown, Chair of the Gamesley Community Centre Partnership, said: "The fair will give the community a chance to talk directly with experts about important health issues. Residents will be able to pick up tips about having a healthy and happy life."
The health fair forms part of 'Managing your weight' - a national campaign week running from 14 to 28 January.
