Your Space is an innovative, exciting programme of arts events and activities for young people in the High Peak.
The programme is made up of workshops, taster sessions and performances that take place in youth centres around High Peak this winter - mostly on Friday nights, starting at 7pm.
The next events, which are free, include:
Friday 1 February - Rapping and DJ Workshop at Chapel Youth Club;
Friday 15 February - Street Dance Workshop at Chapel Youth Club;
Friday 22 February - Young Bands Night at Gamesley Community Centre;
Friday 29 February - Music Taster Session at New Mills Leisure Centre; and
Friday 7 March - Rapping and DJ Workshop at Buxton 4 Youth.
All young people are welcome to attend - no previous experience or skills are necessary, and there is no need to book.
Councillor Andrew Bingham, High Peak Borough Council's Executive Member for Social and Community Development, said: "Your Space provides young people with the opportunity to develop their skills and have a good time at their local Derbyshire County Council youth clubs. All they have to do is turn up!"
