Glossopdale residents are being invited to complete the Glossop Vision Survey 2008 -- and pick up a copy of the latest Glossop Vision newsletter.
Copies of the fourth annual Glossop Vision survey have been sent to 5,000 Glossopdale households, chosen at random from the electoral roll. The closing date for returning the completed surveys is Friday 29 August 2008.
The survey measures satisfaction with public space and will assess the impact of the Glossop town centre improvements scheme. The results will be compared to the outcomes from surveys, held in previous years, and provide information on residents' views and priorities for action.
John Hart, Chairman of Glossop Vision, said: "We really value residents' views on the improvements to Glossop so if you have received a survey form, please complete it and return it to us. If you have not received a form, then why not complete one online?"
Residents who have not received a survey and who would like to comment on the Glossop Vision Programme can complete the survey online by visiting www.highpeak.gov.uk/neighbourhood/glossopvision/. Alternatively, you can call 0845 129 7777 to request a survey form, or drop in at our Council reception offices at Buxton, Chinley or Glossop.
For an update on the Glossop Vision Regeneration Programme, and an outline of future projects that form the Townscape Heritage Initiative, residents can pick up a copy of the latest Glossop Vision newsletter, issue 7.
The newsletter also features information on grant funding, available for the repair and restoration of historic features to commercial premises in Glossop town centre, and at Station Road, Hadfield.
You can download copies of the newsletter from our website at www.highpeak.gov.uk/glossopvision, or pick up a copy from our Council offices, or from the public libraries at Glossop, Hadfield and Gamesley, as well as from the Glossop Pool and Glossop Leisure Centre.
