Round the clock access to all aspects of the planning system is now available at the touch of a button -- thanks to a comprehensive web-based service, launched by High Peak Borough Council.
Up to date information about everything, from whether planning permission is needed, to how to submit a complaint, is at everyone's fingertips, 24/7 -- now that the easy to use, hi-tech facility is in full swing.

The streamlined service also enables people to view and comment on planning applications online, view current major developments throughout the Borough, and view, comment on or read other people's opinions on policy documents that will shape the future of High Peak.
"Now that this web-based service is fully up and running, anyone with access to the Internet can quickly call up specific, up to date information about any aspect of the planning system, 24 hours a day," said Councillor Tony Kemp, High Peak Borough Council's Executive Member for Regeneration.
"It offers a much more streamlined, efficient way of submitting applications and comments, and documents can be viewed and downloaded much more cheaply and easily than before. Tapping into new technology to speed up the planning process is part of our on-going quest to provide a more accessible, cost-effective and convenient service to all our customers."
