The popular Gamesley 'Gameblast' sessions have returned with a new schedule...
Gameblast sessions give young people the chance to play game consoles, in a supervised and safe place, at Gamesley Community Centre.Gamesley Community Centre Partnership, the Big Lottery, Safer Communities, High Peak Community Housing, and Derbyshire Constabulary together fund Gameblast, which features the latest games on the most popular consoles.
The Gameblast sessions, which cost 60 pence, now take place on Thursday evenings, between 7pm and 9pm, and on Saturday afternoons, between 12:30pm and 2pm. The Thursday evening sessions are for young people, aged 12 years and over. The Saturday morning sessions are for those under 12 years old.
After attending five sessions, players receive their sixth Gameblast free.
Places must be booked, as each session is limited to 14 places. There is strict monitoring of game ages and suitability.
