The play area at Brosscroft will be closed for the next two weeks, while it is refurbished.
The improvements are the result of a partnership between High Peak Borough Council, Johnnie Johnson Housing, Derbyshire County Council Youth Services and the Hadfield Youth Officials -- a young person's active citizen's group.
The sandpit is being removed and new cradle swings are going to be installed. A twinfly facility for young people and a set of junior goal posts are also being fitted.
