High Peak Borough Council has made arrangements to catch up on waste collections following cancellations caused by bad weather.
Households whose green bin or green box was missed during the week starting Monday 21 December should wait until the next collection scheduled on their collection calendar. Extra garden waste and cardboard will be collected if presented in one of the council's clear bags, which can be obtained by calling the council on 0845 129 77 77/01298 28400. Households whose black bin was missed should put it out for collection from Tuesday 29 December, and it will be collected that week.
Households whose green box was missed during the week starting Monday 28 December should wait until the next collection scheduled on their collection calendar. Residents whose green or black bin was missed should leave it for the council to collect by Saturday 2 January.
