High Peak Borough Council has improved our website so that customers can do much more online - at any time.
Our website, www.highpeak.gov.uk allows people to pay bills securely, contact Councillors, find services, make comments to the Council and send forms.
To make a payment online, website users should click on the 'Make a payment' orange button, to pay your council tax, business rates, housing rents or other payments. All payments will be processed in two working days.
Residents can also click on 'My property' (in the top right of the home page) to find out when your bin collections are and who your Councillor is, simply by typing in your postcode. You can also access information about your council tax and planning details.
The menus also provide information about events, leisure facilities, area forums and Council services.
Emily Thrane, Executive Councillor for Corporate Services, said: "The Council's improved website allows residents to access information and services 24 hours a day, seven days a week - in other words, when it suits them and from the comfort of their own homes."
