High Peak Borough Council is supporting the 'Do Business in Glossop' event, which is taking place at Bradbury Community House on Tuesday 24 March 2009.
This free event, which takes place between 9.30 am and 6 pm will include a range of exhibitors including local businesses and business support organisations. The event will provide a fantastic opportunity for businesses to generate new leads and find suppliers amongst local companies. Those attending will be able to pick up marketing ideas, tax advice and information about business support.
Workshops taking place throughout the day will provide advice including marketing, accounting, and tips on how to network effectively.
Tony Kemp, Executive Councillor for Regeneration, said: "Events such as this not only provide a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to pick up tips and ideas, but also provide an environment for them to do new business with one another.
"This is another example of how the Council has earned its excellent reputation for working with partners and the business community to develop the local economy."
