Will you be away on 4 June Election Day when the Derbyshire County Council and European elections are due to take place. Will it be difficult for you to get to your polling station?
If so you have until 5pm on Tuesday 19 May to register to receive a postal vote.
To appoint someone to act as your proxy to vote on your behalf you must apply by Wednesday 27 May. It is most important that you do not delay.
For postal vote applications received by 5pm on Tuesday 19 May, postal votes are likely to be sent out on 22 May. They may take up to two days to arrive.
If you have already applied for a postal vote and now wish to switch to appointing a proxy you must do this by 27 May.
Remember that if you are going away before 4 June, a postal or proxy vote may be your best option.
If you would like to discuss your requirements, then please contact Electoral Services on 0845 129 77 77.
