Somersaults, cartwheels and tumbling will be the order of the day for children joining Glossop Gymnastics Club this autumn.
Based at Glossop Leisure Centre, the club offers school-term gymnastics classes led by qualified coaches for both beginners and advanced gymnasts.
Also lined up are special Fundamental classes, consisting of 40-minute sessions for youngsters aged three and four. Parents escort their children around apparatus designed to promote enjoyment in physical exercise.
Parents can be confident that their children are in safe hands as the club has achieved British Gymnastics' quality award Gym Mark because of its high standards.
Glossop Leisure Centre is run by DC Leisure for High Peak Borough Council.
Said Andrew Bingham, Executive Councillor for Social and Community Development: "Gymnastics is not only great fun, it also helps youngsters stay healthy and gain strength - as well as making new friends".
To check class availability, call the leisure centre on (01457) 842272 or send an e-mail to enquiries@glossopleisurecentre.co.uk. Details of all classes are available from the council's website at www.highpeak.gov.uk/leisure.
