Want to be more active but worried about being tied into a gym membership?
Then Glossop and New Mills Leisure Centres have the answer in the form of a trial, one-month Kinetika membership.
Available for October only, the special offer includes unlimited use of gyms, swimming pools and group exercise classes at the two centres run by DC Leisure for High Peak Borough Council.
Said Andrew Bingham, Executive Councillor for Social and Community Development: "A short-term trial membership gives people the perfect opportunity to try new or different activities before joining up".
An integral part of the membership package is the support provided to new members. Fully trained fitness instructors produce a personalised workout programme to meet individuals' health and fitness goals.
The programme is reviewed during the trial membership to ensure that the member remains motivated and progress is being made.
Councillor Bingham added: "Whether it's losing weight or training for a marathon, a one-month trial membership helps you get into the exercise habit and gives you time to start seeing results".
