With World Cup fever starting to grip High Peak, the Borough Council has lined up a series of big screen treats for football fans.
Boasting the largest venue and TV screen in Buxton, the Pavilion Gardens is to break new ground by televising England's group games on Saturday 12 June; Friday 18 June and Wednesday 23 June. The first two matches kick off at 7.30pm with the final group fixture starting at 3pm.
With free admission, the Pavilion Gardens is expecting up to 500 customers per game to pack the magnificent Octagon Suite - creating an authentic match day atmosphere.
The giant 20-foot screen will show all the action in pin-sharp detail, ensuring that no one misses out on those key talking points.
Children will be welcome under parental supervision, and there will be family-friendly food and drink offers plus a fully licensed bar.
The Octagon will open its doors one hour before each kick off, with admission on a strict first-come-first-served basis.
Said Head of Visitor Services Terry Crawford: "We would advise everyone to arrive as early as possible to avoid disappointment. With the journey to South Africa prohibitive for most people, the crowd and atmosphere in The Octagon will surely be the next best thing.
"The aim of our events is to enable football fans to enjoy a big match occasion in a safe, secure and family-friendly environment", he explained.
