Building Control - Service Standards
High Peak Borough Council's Building Control Service aims to achieve the following standards:
- To validate and acknowledge 90% of applications within 24 hours
- To issue 80% of completion certificates within two working days of the final completion having been carried out
- To carry out 80% of same day site inspections when requested before 10am on the same day
- To issue 100% of full plan decisions within five weeks of validation, unless an extension of time has been requested by the applicant
- To ease the application process by effective pre-application discussion and advice, and to provide you with the benefit of our local knowledge
- We will also give immediate priority to buildings believed to be in a dangerous condition
