The Low Carbon Buildings Programme will provide grants for micro-generation technologies to householders, community organisations, schools, the public and not-for-profit sector and private businesses.
The grants scheme for householders was relaunched in April 2008. Household grants are allocated on a first come first served basis, as long as funds last. There is a £2,500 grant cap per household.
You must undertake a number of energy efficiency measures before you are eligible to apply for a low carbon buildings grant. These measures will ensure that you are minimising your energy requirements.
