Annual Canvass 2017

From 18th September 2017 Household Enquiry Form Reminders are being delivered where we have not received a response to the initial form. These are being delivered by Royal Mail. Please respond - do not delay.

The letter will be addressed to "the occupier" and will contain details of all those in the household who are currently registered to vote. The household enquiry form is not a registration form but you do need to complete it.

Please DO NOT IGNORE this form it is an important form and must be completed.

On the form we will ask you to confirm the people who are currently living at the address and registered to vote at that property.

HOW TO RESPOND

If there are changes that need to be made to the details on the form, the quickest and easiest way is to go online. You will need to enter part 1 and part 2 of your security code which can be found on the front of your form. You can add and remove people online and make sure the people listed are correct.

If any new people are added to the form they must also register to vote themselves, the quickest and easiest way is to go to www.gov.uk/registertovote - you will need your National Insurance Number and Date of Birth to register.

If there are NO changes to make you still need to let us know!

Go online to confirm that there are no changes, all you will need to enter is part 1 and part 2 of your security code which can be found on the front of your form. Alternatively you can call 0800 197 9871 and when prompted enter Part 1 and Part 2 of your security code which can be found on the front of your form OR text NOCHANGE followed by both parts of your security code to 80212 (if nobody is eligible to vote include a reason after your security code e.g. empty, business, 2nd home, other).  Alternatively you can complete the paper form and post it back to us in the envelope provided.

If you don't respond promptly we will send out a reminder form. If we don't receive a response after sending a reminder we will carry out a personal visit to ensure we get a response.
