Plan, Do and Review: Your Financial Business Success

Key areas covered in this one-day workshop include:

People often find it difficult to predict what the business is likely to earn but you need to make some kind of forecast. Planning for success is essential, tracking how you are doing, then reviewing your plans regularly. This workshop will help you focus on your short, medium and long term goals and how important time management skills, knowledge and application are in achieving success.

This workshop will help you produce or refine a business plan, including financial forecasts for your survival budget, start-up costs or growth plans, sales forecast, financial marketing forecast, profit and loss & managing cash flow. Good forecasting always endeavours to break your money down to the smallest bite sized unit or hourly rate. The trick is to build a forecast from bottom up not top down, we'll show you how.

We will also look at ensuring you are getting your pricing right for your products or services as this is clearly vital. Contrary to popular belief, being a bit cheaper than your competitors does not necessarily win your business and if the price you charge does not cover all our operational costs, then your business will lose money. One of the most common reasons for business failure is running out of working capital. A cash flow forecast can help you avoid that problem by detailing when money comes in and out of your business.

Whether you want to increase sales, expand your range of products or services, move into new premises, hire more staff, or expand internationally, a loan for growth finance can help. However you are planning to expand your business, growth finance that's right for your company can help you take advantage of new opportunities and make your ambitions a reality.
