Construction and Property Forum

The Chamber's Construction and Property is designed for those businesses involved in the construction and property sector to come together to discuss a range of sector specific topics, share best practice, the latest technological developments, economic environment, sustainable construction and employability and skills. The forum also affords delegates the opportunity to network with like-minded businesses and feedback areas of opportunity and concern.

This forum is kindly hosted by HL Plastics, one of the UK's leading PVCu extrusion companies. Its premises consist of a purpose-built extrusion plant, warehouse and offices in Denby, Derbyshire, together with one of the biggest PVCu mixing plants in Europe. The Liniar brand was created by HL Plastics provides a range of products for the construction sector, waterways, retention and flood prevention.

Jake was made a Director of Hallam following 4 years of driving business growth. In the same year, he was Commended as Young Director of the Year by the Institute of Directors (IoD). As Hallam's Client Services Director he introduces clients to Hallam's team of experts and strives to deliver an outstanding client experience. The MTC acts as a 'broad church' for the whole industry, bringing together leading academics, constructors and supply chain, developing a faster route for innovation adoption, providing an ecosystem for building confidence in new innovation and enabling their timely implementation and exploitation. A place where the construction industry can pool its knowledge, share its experiences and solve its problems.

We will hear about how advanced manufacturing techniques are being applied in the construction sector to improve efficiencies and how the MTC can support adoption.

CIPs offers free support* for people working in the construction industry to improve the wellbeing of workers through sport, advice from people who have overcome mental and physical health barriers, and priority access to medical support such as physios - ( *geographical restrictions may apply)
