This discount will end on 31 March 2022.
Nursery Discount was introduced from 1 April 2020 as part of the Government's response to coronavirus.
The discount was available for properties that were occupied by a business on the Ofsted Early Years Register that were being wholly or mainly used for provision of the Early Years Foundation Stage of Education.
In 2020/21 the amount of relief was 100% of the business rates bill.
In 2021/22 the amount of relief was 100% for the period from 1 April 2021 to 30 June 2022. From 1 July 2022 to 31 March 2022 the relief was 66% of the bill (up to a total value of £105,000 per business).
