This interactive workshop, delivered by the University of Derby, will involve collaborators from across the regional food service sector. There will be an opportunity to analyse the sustainable food agenda and its relevance to the food service sector, as well as invite participants to contribute and discuss how menu design and product development initiatives can be implemented in their own businesses in order to influence consumer food choice. There will also be an opportunity to share challenges, opportunities, and principles of good practice through round-table discussion.
This workshop is part of a series of two workshops under the theme 'Environmental Sustainability in Hospitality' and is complemented by the workshop Responsible hospitality operations: enhancing the sustainability credentials of your business. We recommend you attend both workshops for maximum benefit to your business.
