We would like to invite you to a Great Big Green Event to share ideas and get advice on how to be greener.
It takes place on Thursday 20th October 2022 from 1pm to 3.30pm at New Mills Town Hall, Spring Bank, New Mills, High Peak SK22 4AT.
The event will offer advice on energy saving, how to recycle and reduce waste, advice on travel and news from active groups in the area on what they are doing and how you might be able to set up something similar. There will be opportunities to share your ideas and learn from others.
We have groups from across the borough sharing their experiences of projects on setting up repair cafes, running energy efficiency programmes in villages, school travel initiatives, reducing plastic and difficult to treat waste items and information on nature.
Please come and share your ideas or ask questions.
