UK Shared Prosperity Fund Small Feasibility Study Grant

The application process for this grant is now closed.

UK Shared Prosperity Fund Small Feasibility Study Grant

As part of the UK Shared Prosperity funding allocated to the council, money has been made available for feasibility studies which result in the development of new or enhanced projects.

We're inviting applications for grant funding for small feasibility studies which must be commissioned and completed by 31/05/2023

The feasibility studies should address at least one of the below

UKSPF interventions:

  • Improvements to town centres and high streets including improved accessibility.
  • Support for active travel enhancements in the local area.
  • Investment in capacity building and infrastructure support for local civil society and community groups.
  • Community measures to reduce the cost of living, including through measures to improve energy efficiency, and combat fuel poverty and climate change.
  • Support for growing the local social economy, including community businesses, cooperatives and social enterprises.

It should be noted that if successful in an award of funding to commission or produce a feasibility study, that funding to implement project delivery may not be available from UKSPF to further implement the project.  Feasibility studies should consider how future work will be financed from a range of funding options.

The required outcomes from this grant funding are the production of feasibility studies that lead to the development of a number of feasible projects. Applications should identify and have evidence of 20% match funding from other sources within the application.

Approximately £42,600 in total is available for this award in High Peak. Applicants should note that if successful in a grant award they will be required to procure studies in compliance with UKSPF procurement guidelines.

Please note that the grant award will not cover or include any recoverable VAT incurred by your organisation and you should make your own enquiries of HMRC as to the recoverability of any VAT your organisation incurs.

Further information will be required if your application is approved as part of a due diligence exercise followed by a Grant Offer Letter (Agreement) setting out the terms and conditions.
