Ollie lives in Hadfield with his partner Gill, her two sons Tyler & James, and their pet dog Tommy. He supports a number of volunteer community groups and local charities such as Hadfield Coming Together, H.A.P.P.E (Hadfield and Padfield People's Entertainment) and Time to Listen & Care. Ollie supports local residents by attending Padfield Residents' Society and Park Road Residents' Society meetings. He is proud to be a School Governor at Padfield Community Primary School.

Ollie thoroughly enjoys immersing himself into community life, taking part in greatly cherished and much loved community events such as the Great Padfield Sheep Trail, Famous Padfield Coal Race, the Christmas Tree Festival at Padfield Congregational Chapel and the Hadfield Lantern Parade. He attends weekly social clubs such as Tuesday Club and Carmel Coffee Morning held at Padfield Congregational Chapel and Carmel Church respectively.

Ollie spends every Thursday helping to package up and serve all the food parcels at Bellies Not Bins which is run by his partner, Gill.  During school holidays, he is part of the team at Carmel Church who makes packed lunches for local school children in Hadfield, Padfield and Tintwistle. Furthermore, he helps out at the Carmel Community Breakfast alongside Gill and her sister Jacqueline on the second Saturday of every month. He is usually assigned to refreshments duty and serving local residents with their breakfasts.

Ollie's main interests include football, cricket, history, litter picking and spending quality time with his family. He is  an avid supporter of Stalybridge Celtic and Lancashire CCC. He conducts litter picks in Padfield and Hadfield at least 2 or 3 times a week, in addition to attending community litter picks such as the Monthly Carmel Community Clean up and the Annual Big Padfield Litter Pick. Moreover, he enjoys visiting The Peels Arms in Padfield for a lovely meal with Gill and playing football in the back garden with Tyler, and watching James play the drums.
