The annual Statement of Accounts for each financial year ending 31st March are available to view on this page.
The Statements of Accounts are produced every year by High Peak Borough Council. The law requires the accounts to comply with national accounting standards.

Statement of accounts for year ended 31 March 2026
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Section 16 of the Local Government, England and Wales, The Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 and Regulation 25 of the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 that:
- The audit of accounts for the financial year ended 31 March 2025 has been concluded and the Statement of Accounts 2025-26 is available for inspection by any local government elector for the area of High Peak Borough Council.
- Any such local government elector may make a copy thereof or an extract there from.
- A copy of the Statement of Accounts may be purchased by any person requiring them on payment of a sum to cover administration, printing and postage costs. They are also accessible via the Council's website (www.highpeak.gov.uk) under Your Council/ Spending and Performance/ Annual Statement of Accounts.
The above mentioned documents are available by arrangement for inspection or purchase as the case may be either by writing to Finance, High Peak Borough Council, Town Hall, Buxton, SK17 6EL or by contacting customer services.
The Annual Governance Statement (AGS) also forms part of the Statement of Accounts and is published separately at Annual governance statements
