Bulky and Electrical collections

The collection of bulky or large electrical items is for domestic properties only. We do not offer this service to businesses.

Bulky Collections

Please contact Glossopdale Furniture Project if your furniture is still usable. They are a voluntary group helping people on low incomes buy furniture and collect unwanted usable furniture free of charge.   Visit their website if you think your unwanted furniture could be used by someone else.

We offer a chargeable collection service for items not suitable for reuse.

What does a bulky collection cost?
Collection of up to 4 items costs £24.00.
Extra items are £4.60 each (up to a total of 9 items).
If you get council tax or housing benefit the costs are reduced to £12.00 for up to 4 items and £2.30 per additional item.
