See why your bin has not been emptied
Our bin wagons are fitted with a system that records any issues the crews may have had with collections when out and about on their rounds.
Due to recent disruptions, we have been unable to complete waste collection rounds in some parts of the borough. Our teams are working hard to ensure that all bin collections are completed, and we will return to finish any missed collections as soon as we can.
Despite these disruptions, we are still successfully completing around 99% of bin collections across the area. We want to reassure residents that we are doing everything possible to maintain a reliable service, and we appreciate your patience while we work through these challenges.
We hope to be back to full operational capacity soon. Thank you for your understanding, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
If your bin was presented at your bin collection point by 6am on the collection day, but it hasn't been emptied by the end of the day, you can now see if there was an access issue affecting all or part of your street at the time we were collecting. This form will tell you if we plan to return for the bin before your next bin day.
We won't return to empty your bin before your next collection day if:
- your bin was not out for collection when we visited your street
- the wrong bin was presented
- the bin contained items or materials we don't accept and has been stickered by our crew
- the bin was too heavy for the crew to move
- the contents of your bin were stuck or frozen inside and didn't drop out when we tipped the bin
If no reasons were reported by the crew, you can use this same form to report a missed collection to us and we will come back within 5 working days.
Missed collections must be reported within 2 working days of your scheduled bin day.
