Assisted collection

Any residents who already receive this service will soon or may have already received a letter asking you to complete our renewal form.

This is to confirm that this service is still required and your information is correct.

We will assume you no longer need help with your bins if we don't receive your online application or paper renewal form by 11 November 2019.

Please use this form if you are also completing this request on behalf of a friend or relative.

We can help you put out and bring in your bins if you

  • have a permanent disability, illness or condition making you physically unable to present your bins and bags for collection e.g. dementia, chest or heart conditions.
  • have a temporary disability, illness or condition making you physically unable to present your bins and bags for collection e.g. recovering from surgery or during the last three months of a pregnancy.
  • are physically incapable of putting out your bins.

Your GP may need to confirm your circumstances.

Help will only be provided if there is no one else living with you who is over 16 and able to put the bins out.

Please contact us if your circumstances change and you no longer need this service.
