UKSPF High Peak Business Development Grant

High Peak Borough Council has been allocated a further year's funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for 2025/26 under the Supporting Local Business theme to support the development of Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME).

Business Development Grants are available up to £10,000 per applicant/organisation at an intervention rate of up to 80%.

The objective of this grant is to support the development of Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME) through investment in the adoption of new technologies and processes and/or the adoption of new or improved products or services that have the potential to lead to business growth.

Whilst you can apply for capital or revenue items, the expectation is that grants for capital investment will be preferred.

Closing date - 15^th June 2025

Applications will only be considered for projects within the High Peak Local Authority area delivered by High Peak registered businesses between 14^th July 2025 - 31^st January 2026.

Previous recipients of UKSPF/REPF grant awards under the 2022-2025 tranche of funding are eligible to re-apply under this current grant scheme. However, priority will be given to organisations that have not previously received funding from this scheme.

If successful in a grant award applicants will be required to procure the expenditure in compliance with UKSPF procurement guidelines.
