Energy Rebate

The Council is aware of the announcement made as part of the Government's Budget regarding the £100 Household Energy Payment.

At present, the Council is awaiting guidance from the Government on the eligibility criteria, administration process and funding arrangements for the scheme. Until this guidance is received, we are unable to confirm who will qualify for the payment or how residents will be able to access it.

Residents are encouraged to monitor the Council's website and communications channels for updates.

According to the Government's current proposals, payments are expected to commence from January 2027.
