Sports clubs

Coronavirus Support for Sports Clubs

Small grants for businesses that are liable for business rates may be available to support some clubs in the High Peak.  

Additional Support

  • Sport England Emergency Fund - This new fund aims to help community sport and physical activity organisations who are experiencing short term financial hardship or the ceasing of operations due to the ongoing Coronavirus crisis. This £20 million fund is designed to complement other sources of funding from the government, such as funds targeted at small businesses, so please do check the guidelines before you consider applying. 
  • Club Matters - provides lots of guidance for sports clubs through the current crisis. Templates and guidance include topics such as; emergency financial planning, securing your premises, understanding financial support available, running virtual meetings and making the most of social media channels are available.

We encourage all clubs we have contact with to register with the Derbyshire Sport club database.
Once registered people will find you in the club search and you will be able to promote yourselves.
