We work with local partnership organisations to assist people to start new businesses, but we don't employ business advisors directly.
Those considering starting their own business or within the first 12 months of trading can now benefit from one-to-one advice from a start-up Business Advisor covering the High Peak. Appointed as part of Vision Derbyshire, the county wide partnership of local Councils behind the Business start-up programme which offers a combination of advice and grant support, the adviser can advise on all aspects of setting up and running a business as well as access to funding. You can contact them via email .
The D2N2 Growth Hub offers online toolkits and telephone advice to help entrepreneurs develop their business idea.
The East Midlands Chamber of Commerce also offer a wide range of business and enterprise advice. It's a great place to start for all kinds of business support, sign up for a training course or find out what events are being held around Derbyshire.
A new scheme has been launched in Derbyshire hosted by the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce. The D2 Business Starter Project invites local entrepreneurs to a range of informal events followed by a series of workshops and one-to-one advice sessions.
