Howard Park, Glossop

A Victorian park at the northern end of Glossop in its own Conservation Area. The park is also home to the beautiful Victorian baths building which is home to Glossop Pool.

Events in Howard Park

Friends of Howard Park

The Friends of Howard Park are a committed group who support the park. They organise and run events such as their annual Carols in the Park event, take part in practical planting activities and work with local schools to encourage educational opportunities in the park.

Parks Management Plans

The parks individual management plan will define the current and future management and maintenance of the park for a 10-year period from 2021 to 2031.

The plan aims to provide clear direction for the future management and maintenance of the park, ensuring that the park is conserved and enhanced in its entirety whilst balancing the needs of visitors and residents alike.
