Carelink is an alarm installed in your home which gives you contact with a trained member of staff 24 hours a day, every day of the year at the touch of a button.
Important Service Update: Carelink Referrals
With immediate effect, the Carelink Service has reached full capacity and is unable to accept any new referrals at this time. We understand this may cause inconvenience, and we are currently reviewing our capacity to determine when referrals can safely reopen.

Why choose Carelink?
Many elderly, disabled or vulnerable people want to retain their independence and enjoy the comforts of their own home. Now, thanks to modern technology, we are able to offer an alarm system that can be operated from anywhere in your home or garden.
A pendant that you can wear enables you to make a call to our control centre should you need to. We aim to answer all calls within 60 seconds and trained members of staff can give advice and assistance.
Levels of service
There are two levels of service (Silver and Gold) and we will assist you to select the service that best meets your needs:
Silver is monitoring with falls response only. All calls go to the clients elected responder - If the client calls stating they've fallen we would attend as soon as possible. Any other call would be passed to clients elected responder (They must have given consent for us to contact them 24 hours a day in an emergency) or Emergency Services to attend.
If the clients responder attends and finds client has fallen, they can call for falls response from us.
Gold is monitoring with full response to any emergency not only Falls - If the client calls, our staff respond from the outset and deal with the call in full
When you press your alarm button our operators will speak to you and offer advice and reassurance. If you need further help, we will be your emergency contact and our Carelink Response Officers attend if you need help.
What equipment do I need?
All you need is a telephone socket and an electric power point close by. We will provide, install and maintain the equipment. If your equipment becomes faulty we will replace it.
How much does it cost?
- Installation fee: £62.00
- Silver Service (Falls Response only): £7.30 per week
- Gold Service (Response to any emergency): £9.70 per week
You can pay for the service by monthly Direct Debit, credit or debit cards, using an All Pay Card at the Post Office or other outlets.
