Postal vote handling and absent vote secrecy
If you vote by post, you should return your postal pack using Royal Mail.
If you wish to hand in your postal vote pack in person at the council offices or at a polling station you must complete a short form with a member of authorised staff.
Please do not post your postal vote pack through the letter box at the council offices or leave it in a polling station without fully completing the short form with staff or your vote will be rejected and will not be counted.
You can hand in your own postal vote pack and postal vote packs for up to 5 other voters. If you are a political campaigner - you can only hand in your own postal vote pack plus the postal vote packs of up to 5 family members or people for whom you provide regular care.
Do not put any postal vote packs in the letter box at the council office as they will be rejected.
Forms will be available within the council offices and polling stations.
