If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 7 May 2026.

Forms of nomination for the Chapel Parish Council By-election may be obtained from the Returning Officer, Elections Office, Buxton Town Hall , Market Place, Buxton, Derbyshire SK17 6EL, who will, at the request of an elector for the electoral area prepare a nomination paper for signature.

Nomination papers must be hand delivered to the Returning Officer, Elections Office, Buxton Town Hall, Market Place, Buxton, Derbyshire SK17 6EL no later than 4 pm on 9th April 2026.
