All council buildings will be closed on Monday 19 September as a mark of respect, and to allow all members of staff to mark the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Council offices will re-open on Tuesday 20 September as normal.

A national minute of silence for reflection will be observed at 8.00pm on the eve of the funeral of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Sunday 18 September 2022.

Following the funeral service on Monday 19, there will also be a national two minutes of silence and reflection.
