Site Suggestions

The Council is inviting members of the public, community groups, landowners, developers and agents to suggest sites that could be considered for potential future development or alternative uses for the Local Plan. Please complete the form with as much information as possible to help us assess the site. Please ensure that forms are completed with as much relevant information as possible to enable a full site assessment and submitted by 2 July 2026.

Please Note:

• Submitting a site does not guarantee it will be supported or allocated for development by the Council.
• Inclusion in the Site Assessment process does not mean the site will be proposed for allocation in the Local Plan or granted planning permission in the future.
• All submitted sites will be assessed consistently by the Council using internal sustainability appraisal methods and by reviewing their deliverability, including landowner intentions.
• Please be advised that any submissions made during or following early engagement January 2023 have already been recorded in our database and do not require resubmission unless information has changed.

If you would like a site to be considered, please complete and return a separate submission form for each site, along with an OS-based site map (ideally at a scale of 1:1250 or 1:2500). The map should clearly show the site boundary and include nearby road names.

Please note: The Council cannot provide blank OS maps due to licensing restrictions. OS plans can be purchased from PlanningPortal or any other commercial suppliers.
