Energy Efficiency and Advice

Help for Households is a government website which has been set up to help householders with the rise in the cost of living.

Gov.uk have published a number of pages to help with Cost of Living. Here you can answer some questions about your property for energy saving recommendations.

Ofgem have also published a list of grants and benefits available to help with home energy.

 

Derbyshire Healthy Homes Programme

If you live in Derbyshire, have a health condition that is made worse by the cold and you struggle to afford to heat your home; the Derbyshire Healthy Homes Programme may be able to help.

Grants

There are grants available that may be able to support you (eligibility dependant) if you want to make your home more energy efficient or need help towards your fuel costs.

Energy Debt

If you are in arrears with your energy supplier and are struggling to make payments; you may be able to get help.

Park Homes

If you are a Park Home resident you may still be able to get support with your fuel bills

Warmer Derby and Derbyshire

A new, FREE, phone line has been launched to give people living in Derby and Derbyshire impartial advice on how to stay warm at home and cut their energy bills

Energy Efficiency Grants Programme

We are in partnership with Marches Energy Agency (Warmer Derby and Derbyshire) and E'on to deliver a government funded project to upgrade the energy efficiency of privately owned homes
